y que ha pasado hasta hoy;
más de 100 mil desaparecidos.
un país donde en decenas de años,
no existió la categoría de preso politico
por que todo el mundo era desaparecido. quien suministró a ese gobierno,
quien lo entrenó, quien lo preparó?
el campeón de la libertad.//
who could forget what happened in Guatemala? since the era of the
arbenz government in 1950.
a government for the people, elected by the people, intent on agrarian reforms to help the poor and indigenous communities,
immediately succumbed to their “dirty wars”, invaded by hired mercenaries.
so then what happened? and what has happened up until today;
more than 100,000 missing(disappeared). a country where for decades political prisoners did not exist, because everyone was disappeared. who funded this government, who trained them? who prepared them? the champion of liberty(USA)

so you compare a country to what it came from, with all it’s imperfections, and those who demand instant perfection, the day after the revolution they get up and say “are there civil liberties for the fascists?”
“are they going to be allowed to have their newpapers,
and their radio programs, are they going to be able to keep all of their farms?”
the passion that some of our liberals feel
the day after the revolution
the passion and concern they feel for the fascists
the civil rights and civil liberties of those fascists,
who were dumping and destroying, and murdering people before.
now the revolution’s gotta be perfect
it’s gotta be flawless.
the revolution that feeds the children gets my support.

"Imperialism will not last long because it always does evil things. It persists in grooming and supporting reactionaries in all countries who are against the people, it has forcibly seized many colonies and semi-colonies and many military bases, and it threatens the peace with atomic war. Thus, forced by imperialism to do so, more than 90 per cent of the people of the world are rising or will rise in struggle against it. Yet, imperialism is still alive, still running amuck in Asia, Africa and Latin America. In the West imperialism is still oppressing the people at home. This situation must change. It is the task of the people of the whole world to put an end to the aggression and oppression perpetrated by imperialism, and chiefly by U.S. imperialism."
